| BOHEMIAN VASE! Made circa 1860-80! Measuring 9" tall, with applied granulate-crystal etching, this vase has a long neck, and nicely turned bulbous bottom in a true baluster form! With a bright gold washed interior, the vase is a wonderful example of mid-19th century bohemian "forest" style, with a bird, palm leaves and other elements from nature! Condition is near mint, and has its original metal seal with a glass disc in the polished pontil scar underfoot! |
SAME BOHEMIAN VASE! Photo Tips: Both photos were taken against a piece of gradient black to white photo background. The Photo on the Left was taken with the light to dark side and the photo above with the same ground, but turned so that the dark to light provides better contrast to show the white etched pattern! |
